Know Who You Are

It is unfortunate that many people today can’t recognise nor appreciate the value that each and every one of us possess. You can feel damaged and sad and mad, but do understand that it doesn’t make you any less worthy than when you didn’t feel that way.

How you care for yourself gives your brain messages that shape your self-worth, so make sure you care for yourself in every way, every day. Lighten up on yourself. No one is perfect. Gently accept your humanness. Be you, be true to your word, don’t sell yourself short and don’t waste your life worrying. Know who you are, and be it. Know what you want, and go out and get it! Be honest with who you are, what you want and how you want to be treated. Boundaries only scare off the people that were not meant to be in your life.

My dear friend, measure yourself in strength, not pounds. Sometimes in smiles. You are unique, amazing and a beautiful soul. Have a happy Saturday!

Ray Of Hope

Our prime purpose in life is to help others. If you can’t help them, at the very least don’t hurt them. Stand up for someone who is in need so that it’ll build the confidence in you to stand up for yourself at times when required… and when you reach out to those in need, don’t be surprised if something amazing occurs.

The worst kind of sin in this world is knowing everything, knowing that something is wrong and staying quiet when you should be raising your voice against it. Don’t for a moment think it’s not your concern, as you never know when you might personally face the same one day.

Lift up your eyes and see the good in the world. We are people with an amazing capacity to do great good. If even a tiny minority choose to exercise this capacity to the smallest degree, think what wondrous and sweet deeds could be performed with just a few hands! Let the echo of your footsteps spark a ray of hope in the heart of the hopeless and appear as help to the helpless.

Pass It On

I wholeheartedly believe in the power and truths of love and kindness.

We’ve been born into a broken world and our purpose is to make sure when we leave it, know we have left our mark of kindness on it somewhere. We’re all citizens of this beautiful world and we owe it to the world to make it a better place. It would be so wonderful for us to live together in love, in peace and in faith.

Loving ourselves is of vital importance. Because there’s no way we’ll love another soul if we fail to have self love. We must embrace our beautiful spirit and shine light for those who may be living in the dark. We’re human and our hearts are designed to love and live. We can’t be open to love if we’re not loving ourselves.

My friend, when you’re having a bad day and someone comes along out of nowhere and extends to you even the simplest of kind gestures, you feel it deep within your heart. Pass it on…

It’s only with true love and compassion that we can begin to mend what is broken in the world. It’s these two blessed things that can begin to heal all broken hearts. When you are joyful, when you say yes to life and have fun and project positivity all around you, you become the sun in the centre of every solar system and people gravitate toward you.

The ideals which have always shone before me and filled me with joy are goodness, beauty and truth. It’s a little embarrassing that after years of research and intense study, the best advice science can give is to be a little kinder to each other. And so I try to be kind to everything I see, and in everything I see, I see the Lord.

A smile remains the most inexpensive gift I can bestow on anyone and yet its powers broker peace, and conquer worlds.

Wake Up Call

Severn flows,
relentless, sinuous,
coursing to the sea.

dance and rise
within riparian bounds.

Soft, still air
blankets fields.
ghostly trees stand guard.

silken silence
a pheasant calls.

Molten clouds forged in the fiery furnace of a new day. They coalesce and cool, steely grey shards cutting powder blue sky. Colours emerge from the greyness of the night. Heat from the forge warms and wakes the land. Nature stretches and stirs…

Misty Lakes

Cerulean sky, the heavens spanned

God paints the sky with gilded band.

Mist sits like water on folded land

fingers of white on His silk gloved hand .

Departing sun

sets fire to the sky

burning the clouds

while saying goodbye.

Nature’s National Flag

Nature takes her fiery orb,

raises it in an Autumn dawn

and flies her flag

for all to see.
