Wake Up Call

Image

Severn flows,
relentless, sinuous,
coursing to the sea.

Mist-wraiths,

within riparian bounds.

Soft, still air
blankets fields.

Fire

Departing sun

sets fire to the sky

burning the clouds

while saying goodbye.

Sun-cut silhouettes

Malvern stands

proud on patchwork land,

clouds graze sheep-like

across clear summer skies

sun-cut silhouettes

parade across harvest field.

Misty morn

Morning mist
Shroud soft blanket
muffled song…

Scruffy

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Pristine

A new day begins, a blank card on which we write our story. Pristine and perfect, there are no flaws or mistakes… yet!
