It is unfortunate that many people today can’t recognise nor appreciate the value that each and every one of us possess. You can feel damaged and sad and mad, but do understand that it doesn’t make you any less worthy than when you didn’t feel that way.
How you care for yourself gives your brain messages that shape your self-worth, so make sure you care for yourself in every way, every day. Lighten up on yourself. No one is perfect. Gently accept your humanness. Be you, be true to your word, don’t sell yourself short and don’t waste your life worrying. Know who you are, and be it. Know what you want, and go out and get it! Be honest with who you are, what you want and how you want to be treated. Boundaries only scare off the people that were not meant to be in your life.
